More than dozen universities in US including Harvard and Brown have issued advisory to their students to come back before 17th. The universities administration is concerned about the immigration policies that newly elected president could introduce and how it will impact their international student bodies. Therefore, universities want students who are traveling outside US to return back before 17th January.
As the trump is taking new position on January 20th, the universities fearing a revival of travel bans and visa restrictions similar to those implemented during his first term want students to return to campus before the inaugration.
