Why do you think this is the case?
Is this a good thing or a bad thing?

Clothes are essential element of human being’s everyday needs. Nowadays, multitudes favour to buy clothes that are in vogue. I will elucidate the myriad reasons behind the infatuation in subsequent paragraphs followed by my perspective on whether this trend is good or bad for mankind.

Commencing with the multifarious intellects behind with inclination towards fashionable apparels. First and foremost, people find contentment in wearing stylish attires. They want to stay updated with the latest mania. Other than that, dressing in unique garments assist in lighten up mood. Thus, humans prefer to shop new costumes to find inner joy. Moreover, in this new era, a person’s social status is judged from their clothes or house. Owing to which, mortals purchase numerous dashing outfits to exhibit their stature. Therefore, it helps individuals to fit in the society.

Considering the innumerable factors, the drift towards voguish articles is a bad thing. Primarily, it induces environmental pollution. Plethora of fabric is consumed to make dresses. The overstocked unsold clothing is burnt, which leads to carbon dioxide release in the environment. According to a report from world bank group, fashion industry is accountable for 10% of the carbon emission in the ecosystem. Hence, it plays a significant role in greenhouse gas outflow. Apart from this, homo sapiens take debt to acquire glamorous garbs. They become slaves to fashion and crave to obtain every designer wear. Thus, it takes a toll on humans financial planning.

To summarise, garments are crucial need of mankind. Albeit, one should try to be a smart shopper giving their needs a more priority over modern rage.
