In many countries nowadays, consumers can go to a supermarket and buy food produced all over the world.

Do you think this is a positive or negative development?

Globalisation has turned the world into one village. In recent times, people can find the worldwide agricultural products in their hypermarket. In my opinion, it is a positive development which will be discussed in detail in the subsequent paragraphs.

Commencing with the multifarious benefits of having all food crops available in local stores. First and foremost, one does not need to fantasise for their homeland’s food flavour. People can get all the spices in the hosted nation and prepare the food as per their palette’s taste. Thus, it helps a person to get delightful meal in every corner of the world and feel like home. Moreover, it enhances general public’s culinary choices. Interested personals from different nationalities can try another country’s popular food. Therefore, it amplifies global food culture and one can enjoy international food at their own place.

Furthermore, the worth mentioning positive of global proliferation of farm products is, it ameliorates local economy of origin province. Vendors who are exporting farm products from their region have higher profit margins. Hence, it provides access to global market as well as refine public relations. Apart from this, attainability of all items from various sources results in one does not need to wait for any season to come for getting fresh produce. They can adore delicious appetites whenever they want. Thus, it aids in providing healthy and sustainable diet during whole year.
