UK-India Young Professionals ballot opening on February 18th

UK-India Young Professionals ballot is opening on February 18th and will close on February 20th. This visa scheme will provide young professionals the chance to live, work and study in the UK for two years.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Indian nationals aged 18 to 30 are considered
  • Must have a UK Bachelor’s degree or above
  • Proof of £2,530 to support themselves in UK

Indian nationals can make an entry in the ballot through gov.uk website. There are 3,000 spots available under this scheme. Applicants do not need to pay anything to make an entry in the ballot. Successful candidates will be chosen at random.

SELECTION PROCESS

The selected candidates will be informed via email within two weeks of ballot closing. The chosen one can apply for the visa and will have 90 days from the date of notification to make an online application to the UK Home Office. It includes the time for providing biometrics, paying the application fees and healthcare surcharges.

The successful candidates are required to return to India after expiry of their visa under this scheme.
