It is certainly true that technology has been progressing by leaps and bounds and online shopping is one of its fruitful by-products. Some people believe that the expansion of virtual purchase trend will induce the closure of brick-and-mortar stores in all towns and cities. I disagree with the above statement because of myriad reasons which will be discussed in the subsequent paragraphs.
Commencing with the multifarious causes why I disagree with the given statement. First and foremost, electronic order placement has facilitated to order things from the other side of the world. Owing to which, arrival of goods can take from a few days to months. Therefore, during predicament, shops in close proximity can prove to be life saving. Moreover, it is unfeasible to buy everything through cyber network. Certain products require physical inspection and living beings might have to examine the texture, look or feel of the product. For instance, one cannot buy automobiles without trial and observing the features of four wheelers without meticulous assessment. Thus, all outlets cannot be replaced by online mode.
Furthermore, the worth mentioning point of my disagreement is, all golden agers are not tech-savvy. Due of which, they are not comfortable with using smart applications to order various things. As a result, they go with the conventional buying methodology. Apart from this, visiting offline store give people necessary change from the monotonous routine. It helps them to rejuvenate their mind. Hence, plethora of humans choose to go to store by own, so they could revitalize themselves.
To conclude, shopping is a practice for achieving contentment. Although ecommerce solutions are the need of the hour but one should never underestimate the significance of physical storefronts as they can prove to be helpful during crisis.
